Gary Fierro established Fierro Films in Spring 2006. Based out of central Connecticut, Fierro Films specializes in independent film's that preserve a high on screen quality after being produced with a below average budget a.k.a guerilla film-making. In October of 2007 Fierro Films and screenwriter Justin Tacchi produced their first short film to be sold online. The film is based off of legendary horror writer H.P. Lovecraft's short story Pickman's Model. The film stars Conor Timmis and Jesse Murphy. The film has been selected and played at various festivals around the world. Currently us here at Fierro Films are in post-production for their first feature length comedy "Ditch" and are currently writing 2 horror sci-fi screenplays.

I am a broadcast /digital video graduate from Middlesex Community College and am currently inrolled at CCSU in the Broadcast Journalism program. Since middle school I have always liked telling stories. So, making movies was the best way possible to bring them to life. The independent (guerilla) side of film-making is what I am interested in the most. I love taking a project from script to screen while being involved in the whole process. I have worked on numerous short films which I have directed 3 of and 2 independent feature films one of which is my latest comedy entitled "Ditch".
